Weekly Announcements

Sept 21, 2025

NOTES ABOUT CTK: Today, we have a “Narrative Service,” a service that explains the liturgy. Copies of the proposed amendments to our constitution are available on the Welcome Center. Please pick up a copy to be well informed about the changes. A voters meeting to officially announce these amendments will be held sometime in October so they can be voted on in the November’s voter meeting. Next week, Pastor’s begins a Bible Study on how one can help the Kingdom of God grow, starting right here in Waxahachie. The new edition of Portals of Prayer are available at the Welcome Center.

NEW MEMBERS: Today, we receive 10 families into our fellowship. Please plan to attend the welcome breakfast brunch in between services. Check out the worship folder insert for an introduction of them.

CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE 101 CLASSES: Pastor is hosting classes which teach the doctrines of the Christian faith. These classes are for those who want to learn more about the Christian faith or are seeking to join our church. Attendance does not oblige one to join the church. If you know of people looking to grow in their faith or seeking to join the Lutheran church invite them to come. On-site babysitting is available. Classes last about 60-90 minutes. We meet on Sunday night at 6:00 p.m.
