NOTES ABOUT CTK:  Our next Voters’ Meeting is November 23, 2025, after the second service. In that meeting we will vote on the constitutional amendments and elect officers. All Ladies mark your calendars, December 7th at 5:00 pm Advent by Candlelight (more information to follow).

ALTAR GUILD HELP NEEDED: We need three people to help the Altar Guild in the early service and four people in the late service. The Guild keeps the sanctuary in working order. It sets up and takes down for communion. It changes the paraments and banners to stay aligned with the seasons. It decorates the sanctuary for Lenten, Easter, Advent and Christmas seasons. If you feel you can help with this service or have more questions, please contact Deborah Montgomery (972-921-5320) or speak with her after services. Thank you!

SOCIAL MINISTRY AND OUTREACH NEXT ACTIVITY: On November 22nd, the Board is hosting the annual Thanksgiving Meal for Group Homes. To ensure everyone has enough to eat the committee is asking for donations of pies, dressing, gravy, and green beans. If you wish to donate anything to the auction, treat table, or the Thanksgiving meal, please talk to anyone on the Board. You can also sign up through SignUp Genius (see link below). A word of thanks to all who made the Fall Festival such a great success! Over $7,400 (with more coming in) was raised to help support the ministry of Build-A-Bed! There are still some items left over if you wish to bid on them. Donations are always accepted.

SAVE THE DATE! Our annual Children and Youth Christmas program will be happening on Sunday December 14, 2025, during the 10:45am service. Following the service, we will have a potluck to celebrate all the hard work of the kids! Parents, watch for more information coming soon! 

TODAY’S FLOWERS: Today’s altar flowers are given by Craig Cates in memory of Carla Cates.

2026 FLOWER CHART IS UP!! Let’s make each Sunday even more special with a beautiful flower arrangement tailor made in honor of significant events or in memory of a loved one. Do not hesitate, sign up for that special Sunday. Contact Mary Caldwell 972-268-0858 with any questions regarding Altar Flowers. Due to the holiday season the cost for the flower arrangement will be $35.00.

Our annual YOUTH-GIVING retreat is coming up later this month from November 23rd-24th for all Jr. High and High School Youth! This 24 hour retreat starts Sunday at 12pm and ends Monday at 12pm and includes 3 meals, games at church, a fun outing, overnight at the Rutan house, Bible study, and a service project! The cost is $15 and the deadline to RSVP is Wednesday November 19th!
